We Won! We Won!

I hope you are sitting down- I am happy to report that my softball team actually won a game! Yeah! I had no errors and hit a double and scored a run. Yeah for me! Of course, I'll be feeling it tomorrow as I was catching and threw the ball at least fifty times. Oh yeah, sore back muscles- here I come, baby! The best part, though, was when I pushed the umpire out of the way to catch a pop-fly foul. Hey man, don't get in my way- I'm trying to play a game here.And about this, all I can say is, WOW! I mean, WOW! What will they think of next? Wired.com sure does have some, um, interesting articles lately.

So there are two interesting articles on Wired.com- one about a guy outsourcing his own job and another on a wise way to spend time money and energy. Fascinating, just fascinating.Today looks like it's going to be a beautiful day- sunny and warm, but not too hot or humid. I am glad to have these enjoyable days (and nights) of summer before all craziness breaks loose at the end of August.
